Company Overview
Strategies Group Plc is a web and software development company based in Camberley, Surrey just 30 miles from London. Formed in 1996 by Neil Colling, we have sailed through the mergers and acquisitions of the Internet growth years before finally settling into our current structure in 2002. Currently Strategies has over 20 permanent staff, a mixture of web project managers, web designers and web developers.
After many years at director level in companies such as Oracle, Ingres, Norsk Data and Data General, Neil wanted a company that could get genuinely close to customers needs and put together a team that could deliver all parts of the internet solution.
Our aim is to be able to help companies define their exact web-based application, website and marketing requirements. We help to transform these requirements into working solutions at an affordable price.
Experienced Team of Web Designers & Developers
Strategies often fits between big web design "consultancies" with their large financial overheads and the small, local companies that simply do not have the breadth of web skills or experience to deliver all parts of a complex solution. Our team of web project managers, designers and developers specialise in the specification, design, programming, and hosting of complex websites and applications.

We Do Not Outsource Your Web Project
The Strategies philosophy is to encompass all parts of your web solution in-house. This includes building our own core applications such as product catalogues, e-commerce software, CRM and contact management tools in addition to other database components. This gives us the flexibility and control to customise everything to your exact needs.
Such breadth of in-house skills is becoming scarce in an industry which is often keen to outsource web development or hosting to cheaper locations outside of the UK or EU.

Technical Hosting Infrastructure
Many companies invest in web sites and applications and then ship them off to a 3rd party to host them. If there is an issue the finger pointing starts but in this situation there is not one person, in one location, to fix the issue! Strategies offer highly resilient hosting within our on-site hosting centre, all fully integrated with our network and services. All of our customers are served by our dedicated support desk offering telephone support throughout the working day.
Strategies in-house internet web hosting centre has been created within a purpose built unit within its UK Headquarters in Camberley, Surrey.
