Web Account / Project Manager Job
Strategies are a web development company based in Camberley, Surrey. We build web sites and database-driven online applications. Projects are typically in the £5k to £50k range.
We are looking for a Web Account / Project manager who would initially be brought in to manage our low-end projects.
The ideal candidate will be someone who:
- Understands and uses the Internet daily
- Understands the basics of HTML, FTP and ASP but not necessarily a programmer
- Understands the basics of database design and database-driven applications and websites
- Can write to a very good standard including both details specifications and reports
The position will suit a very methodical, detailed person, who can capture customers' requirements and deliver a project with help from the design and programming departments.
Dealing with customers both on the telephone and face to face will be a major part of the job and past experience of account management is important.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Either A level or degree level education
- Experience in a web based company for at least 12 months
- Proven ability to write reports
- The personality to relate to customers
- Be used to working to strict deadlines
We are a flexible company and will consider applicants from a wide range of abilities including those looking for their second job through to more experienced individuals looking to transfer skills from other roles.
The remuneration scale will reflect experience and be in the range £14k-£25k with performance bonus representing a 25% of the package with the ability to overachieve.
